Fans Of The Future
The Fans of the Future initiative was set up by the Football League and was launched during the 2005/06 season.
The campaign aims to introduce supporters of tomorrow to Live Football and encourage them to develop an affinity with their local Football Club.
For the 2007/2008 Season Yeovil Town will be holding 6 Fans of the Future matches, 2 Kids for a Quid matches and a Family focused day in April to celebrate the Football Leagues 120th Anniversary.
The Football League has asked all participating Clubs to name a 'Fans of the Future Ambassador' and for this Season Yeovil Town's will be First Team Manager Russell Slade.

"I think our young fans are the life blood of the Football Club and that the Fans of the Future Initiative is a great way to encourage children to develop an affinity with Yeovil Town" Russell said.
"I can always remember the first game I went to at Nottingham Forest and after that I became a Nottingham Forest supporter.
"An introduction to football at an early age is a great thing and this Football Club has so much to offer.
"There are new coaching courses about to be launched through Football in Community and there are other initiatives we do with schools now through our Community Sports Trust .
"We know how important it is to get local boys and girls involved, and that Yeovil Town FC is the centre point of the Community.
"We want to enlarge, develop and nurture that and there's nothing better from a football point of view than seeing a Yeovil youngster progress into the first team."
