Yeovil Physio Jim Joyce came to Huish Park in June 2006 from Southampton, coming to the club with excellent pedigree.

The Scotsman started his footballing experience as Physio with East Fife in the late 1970's. From there he moved on to Dundee United, before his first appointment in England with Port Vale, a club that he stayed with for five years, before leaving to join the Saints, where he served for nearly ten years.

Russell Slade has described Jim as his most important signing, and he has certainly proved his worth since arriving at Huish Park, keeping the squad in good condition, returning many vital players to full fitness in good time.

Already in his short tenure he has nursed Paul Terry and Mark Lynch back from serious injury, as well as treating key players last season such as Andy Lindegaard, Terry Skiverton, Chris Cohen and JP Kalala.

Jim Joyce is a sports physiotherapist of good experience, and continues to be a vital part of the backroom set up.
