Yeovil went in to today's tie with Swansea City boasting a 100% home record against The Jacks.

Russell Slade went with an orthodox 4-4-2 line up, bringing back Marcus Stewart from injury to partner Lloyd Owusu up front.

Kevin Betsy started wide on the right of midfield, and Justin Cochrane slotted in on the left, with Rose and Barry in the centre.

Mark Lynch came in for the suspended Lee Peltier at right back, with Forbes, Guyett and Jones completing the back four in front of the returning Steve Mildenhall in goal.

Swansea matched Yeovil's formation, and Roberto Martinez kept faith with the same side that won away at Bournemouth, which saw Jason Scotland and Warren Feeney start in attack, so Darryl Duffy - one of a number of players returning from injury - had to be content with a spot on the bench.

The Swans kicked off in overcast conditions, attacking their large following from Wales in the newly named Blackthorn Stand.

Yeovil were backed by a good atmosphere from the Carlsberg Stand and created their first chance on 7 minutes, when a short free kick from Barry was flicked from Stewart to Owusu, who in turn laid the ball off for Kevin Betsy to force a fine save from De Vries in the Swansea goal.

Yeovil had started the brighter side, and another break down the left saw Nathan Jones beat his man and put in a dangerous cross that De Vries missed, but Stewart was unable to get a shot away towards the unguarded net.

Swansea came up with their first chance of note on 15 minutes, when Thomas Butler cut in from the left wing and unleashed a powerful strike towards goal that Mildenhall did well to turn behind for a corner.

Yeovil suffered a blow 2 minutes later when Stewart was brought off as a precaution with his troublesome hamstring cramping up, and Paul Warne replaced him up front.

Swansea started to come in to the game more after this point, forcing a series of corners and in the 40th minute, with the match evenly balanced, Anderson broke away down the right hand side for the visitors.

He then slid a ball in to the box for Jason Scotland, who allowed the ball to run across his body before striking it first time in to the bottom right hand corner of Mildenhall's goal - an impressive finish giving the away side a 1-0 half time lead.

Yeovil came out for the second half and immediately attacked, with Betsy forcing a save from De Vries with a strike from 25 yards.

Then in the 47th minute, Swansea right back Angel Rangel was booked for hauling down Cochrane on the left hand side of the box.

Anthony Barry swung the free kick to the back post, where Guyett headed back across goal and Betsy nodded home from 4 yards to deservedly bring the Glovers level.

This saw the noise level increase around Huish Park, and another Guyett header - again from a Barry free kick - led to pinball in the away side's penalty area, before the ball ended up in De Vries' arms.

61 minutes in Yeovil so nearly took the lead when Rose whipped in a brilliant left footed ball across the face of goal, but Owusu just couldn't connect at the back post with the goal at his mercy.

The home side were putting Swansea under immense pressure now, and a great sweeping move saw Owusu lay the ball off for Lynch to curl a left footed strike inches wide of the far post.

Darryl Duffy came on for Warren Feeney, and with that substitution the game became more disjointed for a while, which seemed to suit the away side.

Again they came back in to the game later in the half, and in the 79th minute Ferrie Bodde stepped past two challenges to slot the ball in to the bottom left hand corner to give the Swans a late lead.

Slade threw on Domoraud for Owusu and Walker for Cochrane in an attempt to grab what would have been a deserved equaliser, but although Yeovil pressed and Walker was unlucky when he hit the underside of the bar, they couldn't find the goal to earn them a point.

So Swansea held on to move up to 2nd in the League One table, while the Glovers slipped to 11th after getting nothing from a performance that really should have earned them at least a draw.
