A disappointing game at Huish Park on Tuesday evening saw The Glovers lose out 1-0 to a Millwall side that gave the Lion's some breathing space from the relegation zone.

Former Bristol City striker Bas Savage scrambled the ball past Scott Flinders in the 70th minute in front of a crowd of 4,439.
Glover's manager Russell Slade was disappointed with the result and performance of his players, "after a really bright start in the first ten or fifteen minutes I was disappointed with the second half performance, its got to be a lot better than that."

The game started brightly for both sides with Rhys Evans pulling off a stunning save from Scott Guyett's towering header in the 2nd minute.
From the resulting corner, debutant Jean Francois Christophe headed the ball straight at Evans, who made a comfortable save.

Evans was called into action again in the 7th minute brilliantly parrying Martin Woods' well-placed shot that was destined for the top right hand corner.
In an action packed first ten minutes Yeovil's Scott Flinders pulled off a spectacular save from Lewis Grabban's twenty yard shot.

Andy Kirk drew another great save from Evans with a low shot that was tipped just around Evan's left hand post.
Yeovil were dealt a blow when Jaime Peters went off injured in the 19th minute after going down from a challenge by Lion's left back Andy Frampton.

After a lively opening twenty minutes the game slowed down and neither side created any clear-cut chances.
Lion's tenacious midfielder Alan Dunne was booked for a crunching tackle on Jean Christophe in the 43rd minute.
Half Time Yeovil Town 0 Millwall 0
The teams returned from the break with Millwall making one change with Alan Dunne coming off for pacey winger Ryan Smith.
The threat from Lion's speed merchant Lewis Grabban was a constant threat for the Yeovil defence that was missing star defender Terrell Forbes.

In the 68th minute Grabban's low cross into the Yeovil six-yard box, was cleared from danger by Mark Lynch just in front of the line.
The deadlock was broken in the 70th minute as Lewis Grabban out paced Mark Lynch to deliver a dangerous cross to Ryan Smith who passed to Bas Savage who put the ball home.

Slade pinned the goal down to poor marking on the behalf of Yeovil's defence. "We've got to learn to mark in the box, we had enough bodies to deal with it and we didn't."
An uninspiring Anthony Barry was replaced by Paul Warne as Yeovil struggled to string passes together.

Marcus Stewart dropped back into the central midfield berth that he has been limited to so often this season.
The Glover's were nearly gifted a goal in the 79th minute when the outstanding Rhys Evans fumbled the ball on the edge of the box, but the Welshman managed to scramble the ball away from the potent Andy Kirk.

The Lion's threatened again as substitute Ryan Smith's right footed shot looped over just over the bar.
Yeovil rarely threatened throughout the game and inspiration captain Terry Skiverton had a tame shot cleared off the line by a Millwall defender.
The Millwall defence remained solid for the duration of the match with towering defenders Paul Robinson and Zak Whitbread making easy work of Yeovil's forward line.
Results around the Glovers benefited them but Slade wanted Yeovil to 'focus on their own destiny' rather than relying on other results to guarantee safety in League One.
