Yeovil Town continued their good run of form with this valuable point at Brisbane Road as they held high flying Leyton Orient to a goalless draw.
Whilst not admitting his team had come for the draw a happy Russell Slade said after the match: "It was a tight game and a well earned point for us."

But in a match of few thrills it was the home side who went closest to breaking the deadlock when Adam Boyd hit the post in the first half.
Slade continued: "Defences dominated the match all afternoon. We came here to win the game and not to draw it but the point keeps our momentum going.

"We wanted to be solid again and I thought we were."
Slade made one change bringing back Terry Skiverton after illness for the suspended Marcus Stewart.

The Yeovil manager did have one late scare though, when Terrell Forbes went down with the stomach bug that has plagued the club all last week, but fortunately Forbes made it through a late fitness test.

The home side dominated the early exchanges and Gary Dempsey had to be alert to clear a Daniels cross as early as the third minute.
Former Yeovil midfielder Paul Terry was in the heart of all the early action and was unlucky when his 20 yard free kick couldn't get through Yeovil's back line.

It was all action in the wrong end from Yeovil's point of view and Forbes was at his best when he headed away a Demetriou chance and then Paul Terry headed just wide from a corner.
It took until 15 minutes before Yeovil had their first chance but Nelson was equal to a Skiverton header.

Mainly though the action was around Steve Mildenhall's goal and the big keeper earnt his clean sheet bonus with a brilliant save to push Mkandawire's header around the post.
At this point it was all Orient and Terry again had a shot over the bar whilst winger Demetriou also went just wide.

On 35 minutes probably the best chance of the game fell to Adam Boyd when he rose well to flick on a Daniels free kick only to see his effort hit the post and bounce to safety.
Russell Slade decided to change things at half time when he brought on Lloyd Owusu for Gary Dempsey in effort to give lone striker James Walker some more service as he switched to a more orthodox 4-4-2 formation.

Orient continued to have most of the play though and Mkandawire headed over and then Boyd had another chance only to see his effort blocked bravely by Paul Warne.

Lloyd Owusu had probably the best chance for Yeovil when he headed over a pinpoint corner from Zoltan Stieber.
Warne also had another chance but Nelson saved his effort as the game drifted towards the inevitable 0-0 draw.

But the last few minutes of the game at least proved something for Yeovil.

They have managed to avoid giving away any more last minute goals as Mildenhall saved bravely at the feet of Echanomi to keep the match scoreless and earn The Glovers another good point as they maintain their push towards the Play-Off places.
