The win against Doncaster Rovers on Good Friday lifted everybody at the Club so the manager will be desperate to secure another vital win.

Rovers drew 2-2 with top of the table team Swansea City after surrendering a two goal half time lead at the Liberty Stadium on Monday evening so will be looking to achieve the same first half performance during the 90 minutes.

Back in October 2007, Yeovil had taken the lead through a Matty Rose goal in the 62nd minute and looked comfortable for another away victory after a somewhat stuttering first half performance.

However with less than a minute to go a lofted free kick by Carruthers somehow eluded Scotty Guyett to land at the feet of Elliott who side footed home beating Romain Larrieu in his last game for the Glovers.

With Rovers in League Two last season you have to look back to the 2004/05 season for clashes between the two sides.

Yeovil Town swept back to the top of League two with an impressive demolition of local rivals Bristol Rovers at Huish Park on the 12th February 2005.

Rovers arrived without manager Ian Atkins who had gone down with flu, perhaps a wise move to stay tucked up in bed on such a cold afternoon!!

The remarks from the Rovers manager prior to the game though had done Yeovil manager Gary Johnson a great service as no motivation was necessary to get his lads going with the Glovers beating Rovers 4-2 after goals from Phil Jevons (26), Phil Jevons (pen, 56), Phil Jevons (64), and Bartosz Tarachulski (72)

Recent Form

Bristol Rovers are currently in 18th position in the League table and two points behind the Glovers who lie in 16th place. However due to their recent cup run they still have three games in hand.

After a fantastic F.A. Cup run, which saw them beat the likes of Fulham and Southampton, Rovers have not won a League game since the 1st of March when they beat Millwall 1-0

Rovers boss Paul Trollope has landed the signatures of Wayne Andrews form Coventry City and Jeff Hughes from Lincoln until the end of the season. However Hughes is not set to feature in tomorrow's match as he is expected to meet up with his team mates on Monday.

Yeovil's 2-1 victory over Doncaster Rovers renewed a lot of confidence at Huish Park but disappointment set in after Hartlepool with the 2-0 scoreline doing nothing for their confidence.
