Yeovil Town Football Club are pleased to announce, that club captain Terry Skiverton has agreed to sign a one year extension to his current contact which will see him remain at Huish Park until the end of the 2008/2009 Season.

The deal will see Terry competing in his tenth season at the club after joining from Welling back in 1999.

Skivo has played a huge part in the success of the Football Club, not only by leading the team to victory at Villa Park for the FA Umbro Trophy Final but also the historic promotion to the Football League in 2003, followed by promotion to Coca Cola League One in 2005.

Terry Skiverton is therefore the most successful captain in the clubs history and rightfully deserves all the praise he has received from supporters, managers and players during the years.

As a dedicated player that is Yeovil through and through and exudes passion and enthusiasm both on and off the pitch, Terry continues to be a great ambassador for the Club and is regularly involved in the Clubs Community Programme, passing on his skills and experience to budding footballers throughout the county.
