Club captain Terry Skiverton has told www.ytfc.net this afternoon, that he is really looking forward to getting back into training and starting the new season,

Terry who will officially sign his extended contract on Tuesday said

"I am really pleased that negotiations over my contract have been concluded.

"I can now look forward to another year at this football club.

"Contrary to reports in the local press, I have not been frustrated with the speed of negotiations and in fact I have been pleased with the way they have gone.

"I have to say that Martyn Starnes has been excellent all the way through and that this is a deal that is not only good for me but good for the Club.

"Now that it is all agreed, I am really looking forward to getting back into training again and starting the new season."

Chief Executive Martyn Starnes added

"I am absolutely delighted to have concluded contract negotiations with Terry and that he will be with us for another season.

"Terry provides magnificent leadership both on and off the pitch and we look forward to him making another major contribution to the Club during the 2008/2009 campaign.
