Warne Extends Contract
Yeovil Town Football Club are pleased to announce that Yeovil midfielder Paul Warne has extended his contract for a further year.
Warne, 35 joined the Glovers during the summer of 2007 after being released by Oldham Athletic, despite appearing in every game, and dominating the club's end of season awards.
Although coming into the professional game late, at 24 years old, Paul has distinguished himself where ever he has played and is another player dedicated to coaching children throughout the county through the Clubs Community Sports Trust.
Towards the end of the last season Paul missed the remaining nine games after it was confirmed that he had suffered a stress fracture to his fifth metatarsal.
However despite his injury Paul still managed to make a total of 37 appearances for the Glovers in all competitions, scoring 1 goal.
Speaking to www.ytfc.net this afternoon Paul said
"I am pleased that I have signed a one year extension to my contract.
"There was no doubt in my mind that I wanted to stay at Yeovil and now everythings been sorted I can look forward to the new Season."
