Starnes and Slade on Fixture list

Yeovil Town Chief Executive Martyn Starnes and manager Russell Slade comment on the club's fixture for the new season, which were released this morning.
Russell Slade was first to react from his holiday hideaway : "Walsall will be a tough game - they are under new management (Jimmy Mullen) so they will be out to prove themselves.
"Then we have Hereford and newly-promoted teams always carry momentum with them.
"And then we have got Leeds so it is a tough start.
"It was also no surprise to see we are away in the Carling Cup first round (to Charlton).
"I think that is six away cup ties out of seven since I have been at the club!"
Chief Executive Martyn Starnes was equally bullish about the new fixture list
"I'm absolutely delighted to see we have a home game to start the season off against Walsall. I understand that it is the first time since we got into the Football League that we have had an opening day home fixture so that too is very pleasing.
"Then of course our first away League fixture is against our old friends Hereford United so that too will be a match with plenty of interest for Glovers fans.
"Looking at the end of the season we appear, on paper at least, to have a slightly easier run in with games against Tranmere, Hartlepool United and Colchester United to finish the season, so that should provide an interesting end to the season, when hopefully we will be challenging for a play-off place.
"I do think however, that there must be a slight doubt about the Leeds United match being played on the designated date. I am anticipating a call from the Police for discussions on this one for sure.
"The Boxing Day fixture against Cheltenham is, as far as I am concerned, less problematical but again the Police just may have some issues with it.
"Right now though I am just looking forward, like most of the fans I hope, to that first match against Walsall. That first match is always the best as far as I am concerned."
