The Yeovil Town Ladies are holding a girls youth soccer tournament and fun day up at the Somerton Sports Ground this Saturday the 28th of June 2008.

The day kicks off in the morning with the senior players embarking on a sponsored cycle ride around the area. Fifteen miles later the hard work will start when they get back to the sports ground for a fun packed afternoon.

The main event will be an Under-12 and Under-14 soccer tournament which will see some of the country's best young female talent come up against each other.

While this is going on, and into the evening too, there will be a number of other activities on the go.

Come and sample our cooking on the barbeque, with more food available as well.

And there will be plenty to wash it all down too, and the sports club will of course have their bar open all day.

And if you fancy a rest from all of this we will have a number of stalls selling such items as home baked cakes etc.

Or you could try yourself out in tug of war, 'keep me up' and penalty shoot out contests with the Ladies first team players, or try and become a champion cracker eater and more.

There will be prizes given out for all the above, and we will be running a raffle as well.

There will be something for everyone, so come along and have a great afternoon!
