Jim Departs To Aldershot
Yeovil Town Football Club has announced this afternoon that Club Physio Jim Joyce is leaving the Glovers after two years service at Huish Park.
The Scotsman will leave the Glovers to join League Two side Aldershot Town which is a Club closer to his home in Southampton which will give him more time to spend with his family.
Jim joined the Glovers back in June 2006 after replacing Glen Schmidt, who joined former manager Gary Johnson at Bristol City.
Jim started his footballing experience as Physio with East Fife in the 1970s. From there he moved on to Dundee United, before his first appointment in England with Port Vale, a club that he stayed five years with, before leaving to join the Saints, where he served for nearly ten years.
Jim will be liaising with both the Club and Russell to find a suitable replacement and will be involved heavily in the interview process.
We are sure that you will join Yeovil Town Football Club in wishing Jim the very best as he embarks on his career at Aldershot Town F.C.
www.ytfc.net hope to have some comments from both Jim and Russell at some stage tomorrow.
