Dear Sir,

YTFC - Football in the Community

My two sons recently (finished today!) attended the Yeovil Town football course held at Motcombe Park.

To give you a bit of a background; My boys are six and eight. I manage the local under-nine league side (and coach them). Every weekend for nine months, we train, play league matches and watch football at Dean Court or St Mary's (Sorry!!).

My boys have attended endless holiday schools / crash courses with AFCB and others. In short, we live, eat and breath football.

They really struggled to attend on Tuesday morning, as it's not in our area and they were fairly unsure they wouldn't know anyone else. Tuesday night - They were raving about John Flatters and his team, and what they had been taught.

Today, I was the worst mother in the world because I can't provide that again until October.

Please, please, please say a big thank you to John and the guys. I am obviously involved in Community Football and know the highs as well as the lows, but have never seen a workshop / course run so well and enjoyed by so many (and let's not forget that the weather was not the best) - It was brilliant.

I would also like to say that I think Motcombe Park is a great venue - Fantastic facilities and really helpful staff.

Thanks to everyone, once again, especially Marcus!
